According to the Yahoo Finance news Mr.Warren Buffett,” Invested in 3D Printing,” The Oracle may have seen growth opportunities the rest of the market was largely overlooking — in combining the leading market positions of Precision Castparts in titanium alloys and technically complex engineered metals with the up-and-coming potential presented by metal 3D printing”.
Precision Castparts would gobble up Atlantic Precision, a start-up in the metal 3D printing space focused on direct metal laser sintering (DMLS). The technology fuses metal powdered alloys used in additive manufacturing machines to create complex shapes with fine geometries. What was the reasoning?
Metal alloy leader Allegheny Technologies and General Electric recently created a joint venture to develop and commercialize a manufacturing process for creating melt less titanium alloy powders for metal 3D printing applications…..:)
Welcome to a new regular series on our blog, Makerspace Math. This series will focus on the “M” in STEAM, offering practical tips, tutorials, and ideas for incorporating math education into your makerspace. How 3D Printers Can Help With Math Education One of the most amazing things about 3D printing is its ability to make intangible […]
According to the Global 3D food Printing Market. Europe and Asia Pacific has more market in 3D Food Printing.
North America, and Latin America are at the same level.
Middle East and North Africa has same level. 🙂
3D printing is an innovative way of structuring an object or creating layer by layer. A design of the product is developed into the computer and the same system is integrated with the machine. Small granules of the raw materials are feeded into the machines that are further released by the robot arm to form […]
This is an amazing research regarding Thoughts. If we can use Artificial Intelligence in 3D printing.
We can increase our creativity and make things on demand. 🙂
New Brunswick Researchers To Study Thought-Controlled 3D Printing By Tyler Koslow Canadian researchers to study applications of artificial intelligence in manufacturing 3D printing materials under new innovation program. As technology continues to advance on all fronts, many experts believe we are on the cusp of the so-called fourth industrial revolution. 3D printing sits alongside other innovative […]
Dr. 3 D Printer (What is 3D printing and how does it work)
In our Dr. 3D Printer series, we always take specialist advise and take it as it is. 3D Printing is still unknown for us. We are still in learning stage. If we find anything related to 3D Printing. We try to share with everybody.
In this video comments are describing the material and process very well. I am using the comments here.
Materials can range from plastics and polymers to metals and even organic materials like foodstuff and human tissue (in fact, hospitals are expecting 3d printers to be able to reproduce body parts and organs reliably in the near future, mitigating the need for donors and artificial prosthetic)! There are a LOT of different types of 3D printers out there, and different printing processes are suited to working with different materials.
Ever seen 3D printed food? now that’s amazing in my opinion. Of course, in 20 years we will all be laughing at this just like how we laughed at a computer that took up an entire room yet, we now have cell phones more powerful than that. 🙂
Russia’s Mission Control outside Moscow is already in Spacewalk for 6 and half hour.
We all know in space you walk with your hands, it is so much physical work. You know it is very interesting you can not whistle because of 400 Pounds pressure. Spacewalking cosmonauts release it’s combination of stress and fun and lot of work.
“We will have actually some grounds to get drunk today, I think,” one of the cosmonauts joked in Russian. A flight controller replied that he’d do it for them.
One more important thing they do oil change in Space arm, like we do here for car.
In FUTURE may be they can make their own choice fresh 3D Printed FOOD too.:)
