According to the scientists from the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), with their research, they gain through their experiences that the material keratin is a fibrous protein that is found in hair, nails, and shells.
The scientists extracted the keratin from leftover Agora wool used in textile manufacturing.
It is a good thing for the environment, the material is eco-friendly and biocompatible.
The material that can be 3D-printed into any shape and pre-programmed with reversible shape memory.
