As mentioned in the project report by Hansjörg Wyss’s Professor Jennifer and her research team of Biologically Inspired Engineering at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences have developed new classes of soft functional inks for pen-on-paper electronics, flexible electronics, and 3D antennas. They have also demonstrated a new route for creating shape-morphing architectures, known as biomimetic 4D printing.

Aether is an AI-powered 3D printing technology used to create complex 3D models of organs for medical research and transplantation purposes. Aether’s technology uses deep learning algorithms to analyze medical imaging data and generate highly accurate 3D models of organs, which can then be used to create physical replicas using 3D printing.
According to Aether’s revolutionary Artificial Intelligence powered medical imaging software, “which will dramatically advance 3D organ printing technology development. Groundbreaking new medical 3D visualization software features completely automatic segmentation of organs and tissues. No editing tools, color sampling, calibration, or human intervention is required. Convert patient medical images into accurate multi-material print files with just a few clicks.”

How important do you think it is to continue developing new technologies for organ transplantation?
