3D Printing and coronavirus testing

Posted on Updated on

As mentioned by  Todd Goldstein, director of design and innovation at Northwell, Yahoo Finance, “First it was the kits, then it became the reagents [in short supply], then it became the swabs. We couldn’t print the kits or the reagents. It’s tough; everyone wants the same supplies at the same time.”

The FDA is willing to discuss these and other issues with manufacturers and facilities. Entities should email COVIDManufacturing@fda.hhs.gov for more information.
