Convert Categories to Tags

After spending hours and hours changing Categories to Tags, the result was nothing. Still, I have so many categories. So I did some research and found out how to convert categories to tags.
But be careful; I am changing
Categories to Tags,
little by little. :
Convert only the child category to make a TAG.
