I’ve never seen before printer like this that builds parts 3D Printing with a Unique New Layer-Based System. But my brother-in-law has a 3D printer. He used it to make parts for special appliances.
According to Hackaday, “this 3D printer builds up a part in layers but not as we’ve ever seen before. Impossible Objects has built a machine that prints each layer onto a substrate, stacks them up, then compresses and bakes the parts. The result is reinforced composite parts. They use carbon fiber reinforced polyether ether ketone (PEEK)”.
