3D Printer with multi-color
A 3D printer with multi-color capability is a printer that can print objects using more than one color at a time. These printers use multiple extruders, each loaded with a different color filament, to print objects in various colors. Still, it may also require more maintenance and setup than a standard 3D printer.
According to Stratasys,” a multi-material 3D Printing in colors called, Objet500 Connex3 Color Multi-material 3D Printer. Stratasys unveiled the 3d printer at SolidWorks World in San Diego, California. The new 3D printer uses triple-jetting technology for combining colors and materials. The printer will cost around $330,000.”
There are several different types of 3D printers with multi-color capabilities, including:
Multi-material 3D printers: These printers have multiple extruders, each of which can print with a different material, including different colors. The printer can switch between extruders to create multi-color prints.
Color mixing 3D printers: These printers use a single extruder but can mix different colored filaments to create custom colors, with a broader color option than a printer with multiple extruders.
Multi-part 3D printers: These printers use multiple print heads to print different parts of an object separately, allowing other colors to be used on each part.
Regardless of the method used, a 3D printer with multi-color capabilities can create objects with more intricate and detailed designs, allowing for more creative possibilities.
