According to Savannah State University professors’ Nicholas Silberg and Theo Plothe, Ph.D., “use 3D printing to produce PPE equipment for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each mask takes about four hours to print, though multiple masks. The SSU MakerSpace is effective and always busy, unfortunately, we don’t have enough
